Team Chitwood is a certified Gracie Academy maintaining a close relationship to the Gracie Family. Shawn Chitwood's training under Grandmaster Relson Gracie began in 1993. Shawn was one of the first American Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belts and is one of the few Americans honored to teach in Brazil
Invictus Leo was founded in 2019 when a group of cops got together and decided it was time to push how effective Jiu Jitsu is for law enforcement. The idea morphed quickly into the #BJJMAKEITMANDATORY hashtag and started to gain momentum within LEO circles.
Invictus is a COLLECTIVE, meaning our goal is to highlight the importance of proper training. We will share, promote and feature LEO run companies that are pushing this message.

We specialize in Olympic Style Judo, but we teach other styles too. Our competitive Judo students will have the opportunity to compete at the Local, State, National & International levels.
